Sending Volkswagen iconic camper van a merry send-off on Christmas
Volkswagen wanted a Facebook campaign to engage with their fans on Christmas day and during that period, Volkswagen global was saying its farewell to their iconic T1 camper van. Lego, another iconic brand also created a vintage replica of the van.
So we suggested a partnership and pitched the idea to both brands to use the Lego van to engage with Volkswagen’s fans on Christmas. Tag the Wagen is a simple interactive contest on Facebook that allows users to tag themselves to win gifts everyday for a week leading up to Christmas.
Volkswagen had 10,000 fan base on Facebook doubled up to 20,000 fan base by the end of the campaign.
